My skin is not great, I have my share of hormonal acne and blackheads from time to time, but sometimes I receive compliments on how my skin looks, in terms of glow and texture. I credit this solely to the fact that I never sleep in my makeup and to my cleansing routine. I thought I would break it down for you here.
If someone would ask me what my dessert island product is, for sure I would answer, in a heart beat, blush. I buy every cheap blush I see and like, then end up never using it because I don’t like the texture or colour or packaging or longevity on the skin. Because blush is my dessert island/one product for the rest of my life thing, I never gave up on it, but also, very reluctant on buying an expensive one because that was my last hope in finding the perfect texture/colour/aesthetic/staying power in a blush and I didn’t want to be disappointed, until one day, not too long ago…

I’ve always been a dewy face gal and always will be. I embraced the oil when I had oily skin. Now that I have normal skin I do everything I can to make it super fresh and dewy.
I see girls wearing powder and they look beautiful with it and I romanticise with the idea of using it, but I notice every time I give powder a shot, my face looks flat and unattractive. The same goes for liquid foundations with a matte finish and no need to mention powder foundations, no thank you.
