I’ve always been a dewy face gal and always will be. I embraced the oil when I had oily skin. Now that I have normal skin I do everything I can to make it super fresh and dewy.
I see girls wearing powder and they look beautiful with it and I romanticise with the idea of using it, but I notice every time I give powder a shot, my face looks flat and unattractive. The same goes for liquid foundations with a matte finish and no need to mention powder foundations, no thank you.
As an acid toner virgin (shocking!) I didn’t know what was the best product for me from all the sea of possibilities the market has to offer. Although none of the affordable brands don’t seem to make acid toners (at least not where I live), the luxury products market is full of them. Thus, I decided for the most popular and supposedly the gentlest of them all, as the name would suggest: Clarins – Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner.
I bought a new foundation, I was running out of my last one.
I am more of a ‘one foundation at a time’ gal, I don’t like to use products that are past their expire date and that would totally be the case if I had more foundations in rotation.
